Located on Oakland's Lake Merritt, Rose of Sharon was originally constructed in 1972 and substantially rehabilitated in 2006. The tower consists of a project based section 8 contract for 90% of the units and is targeted to Seniors.
The Hampstead Group acquired the 143-unit Rose of Sharon in 2012.
